It’s no $4.5 million. But $1.458 mill ain’t bad, either.
The Valspar Championship will play its final round on Sunday on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort, with the winner taking home the latter amount above, from a purse of $8.1 million. That prize comes a week after the Players Championship, where Scottie Scheffler won the $4.5 million, and a week before the WGC-Match Play, where the champion will earn $3.6 million.

Valspar leader is on a superhuman streak — for a heartwarming reason
But yeah, $1.458 mill ain’t bad, either. Heading into the final round, Adam Schenk leads by a shot over Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood, and by two strokes over Webb Simpson, Taylor Moore and Cody Gribble.
You can stream the second round of the Valspar Championship via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday. Television coverage starts at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and it will switch to NBC beginning at 2 p.m.
