After losing a nail-biter to Villanova Wednesday, the UConn men’s basketball team will look to get back in the win column in their next game against Georgetown Saturday. 

The 66-68 loss to Villanova Wednesday snapped an eight-game winning streak for the UConn men. The eight-game winning streak came after UConn dropped three consecutive games in the Maui Invitational in November. 

UConn was ranked ninth in the most recent AP men’s basketball poll, which was released Monday. The Huskies moved up two spots from the previous rankings released Dec. 30. Tennessee and Auburn are currently ranked first and second, respectively, in the AP poll.
