STOCKTON, Calif. – Having allowed just two goals in its last four games, the Pacific men's soccer program will get its final tune-up before conference play when it hosts CSU Bakersfield at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Knoles Field.

The Tigers (2-2-2) are unbeaten in their last four games against the Roadrunners (2-2-2) dating back to 2019. Pacific is 4-2-1 all-time against CSU Bakersfield.   "Another important match against a Big West team that has some good results on the year," head coach Adam Reeves said. "We understand what we need to do and will need to execute better. The emotion is there and has to be high playing at home just before conference play begins."   Fifth year Vinzent Zingel leads Pacific with a pair of goals on three shots on target. Junior Jose Maria Barrera holds the team lead in shots on goal with seven, including recording at least a shot attempt in each of the first six games this year.   Senior Joshua Moya has flashed signs of brilliance in goal, keeping the Tigers within games all year. The Gilroy, California native owns a .865 save percentage, .83 goals against average and three shutouts through six starts. His save percentage, shutouts and saves per game (5.33) all rank first among West Coast Conference goalkeepers.   Junior Luca Baltzer and senior Emmanuel Obiefuna have played every minute for Pacific through half a dozen contests. Baltzer scored on a penalty kick last game that ultimately completed a second-half comeback for a 1-1 draw against Sacramento State last Sunday.   Like the Tigers, the Roadrunners hold a .500 record with wins over Utah Tech and then-No. 18 Portland. In their most recent game, CSUB settled for a 1-1 draw at Gonzaga.   The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Dennis Ackerman on the call.  Stay Social For all the latest on Pacific Men's Soccer, be sure to follow the team on X (@PacificMSoccer) Instagram (@pacificmsoccer) and "like" the team's official Facebook page (Pacific Men's Soccer).  #PacificProud
