Now — following reports from that same account (opens in new tab) and reputable website IndieWire (opens in new tab) confidently stating May 16th is the Mario movie's online release date — Amazon has confirmed the date and time.

You can digitally purchase the The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Amazon for $29 (opens in new tab), it came out today (May 16th) at 12 a.m. ET.

That said, those in the UK will be waiting longer, as it's not coming to Amazon until July 9 across the pond. Australia and Canada versions of Amazon don't list a release date.
