Suns vs. Bucks, NBA Finals score: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee look to climb back in series at home
The Milwaukee Bucks didn't have very much success in the first two games at Phoenix. Now, they hope playing in front of their own fans at Fiserv Forum will help ignite a spark as they try to climb out of a 2-0 NBA Finals hole. The Bucks will look to improve to 8-1 at home this postseason when they host the Suns in Game 3 Sunday night. After 24 minutes of play in Milwaukee, it is the Bucks who have managed to build a double-digit lead over the Suns at the halftime break.
Phoenix took Game 2 118-108, thanks to a full team effort, especially from its starting lineup. Every starter scored in double figures, led by Devin Booker (31), Mikal Bridges (27) and Chris Paul (23). The Suns also shot a staggering 20 of 40 from beyond the arc, outscoring the Bucks (9 of 31) by 33 points on 3-pointers. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for Milwaukee with 42 points on 15-of-22 shooting (68 percent), while the rest of the team provided 66 points on just 38 percent shooting. One positive for the Bucks heading into Sunday's contest: Teams with a 2-0 lead in the Finals are 14-21 all-time in Game 3, including 11-19 on the road.
