Inside Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith's relationship history

Jaden Smith and Sofia Richie got tongues wagging over the weekend after they were spotted enjoying a beach day together.

The longtime friends seemed pretty flirty and they laughed and cuddled during what appeared to be a chilled beach date.

And now fans are wondering if the famous duo are anything more than friends.

It wouldn’t be the first time things have taken a romantic turn for these two so have they decided to give love another shot?

Are Jaden Smith and Sofia Richie dating?

Jaden and Sofia got tongues wagging after they were snapped all over each other during a beach day with friends on Labor Day weekend.

The pair were part of a bigger group for their day out in Malibu but snaps revealed plenty of affectionate moments between the 22-year-old stars.

A source told E! News: ‘They spent the afternoon playing on the beach together with friends. But Sofia and Jaden only had eyes for each other.

‘They swam in the water together and wrapped their arms around each other. They held hands as they went in and out of the water and then they pulled each other in for a hug.’

The insider added: ‘They were smiling at each other and very flirty the entire day. They seemed comfortable together.’

While sources gave further information of the pair’s evening after their beach day as they added: ‘They stayed [in Nobu] for several hours and left together in a Sprinter van. Sofia was in a great mood and never stopped smiling.

‘She seems to be having a lot of fun and is very happy. She and Jaden went back to a friend’s house for the night.’

Have Jaden and Sofia dated in the past?

Yes indeed. These two enjoyed a sweet teen romance in 2012 when they were 14 years old.

But it didn’t last for too long as they called it quits by early 2013 and they’ve famously gone on to date other high profile stars.

Jaden has had romantic links with the likes of Kylie Jenner, Amandla Stenberg, Sarah Snyder and Odessa Adlon.

While Sofia recently ended her on-and-off romance with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick.

During that time, Jaden and Sofia have managed to remain close friends, so maybe they’ve decided to explore romance once again now they are in their twenties!

So far, neither Jaden nor Sofia have commented about the dating rumours.
