LAS VEGAS - The NBA’s new big star is set to make his debut with the team that drafted him first overall in this year’s draft, as Victor Wembenyama will take to the floor with the San Antonio Spurs in NBA Summer League action as they take on the Charlotte Hornets.

Wembenyama has been in the headlines recently, not necessarily in a positive light, but on Friday he has the chance to give Spurs’ fans an early glimpse of what he can bring to the franchise that had one of its worst seasons, ever. This will be San Antonio’s third Summer League game, as they already picked up a win over the Hornets on Monday, before beating the Los Angeles Lakes on Wednesday.

The Hornets will have one of their top prospects in the lineup on Friday, as No. 2 overall pick Brandon Miller will look to show off his stuff in front of a national audience. Charlotte has yet to win a Summer League matchup this year, as they fell to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
