Visitors, fans launch off weekend of NBA All Star celebrations

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Thursday marked the first night of many celebrations and events planned for NBA All-Star Weekend. Fans and visitors were spread across Salt Lake City taking part in the festivities. “I’m super excited about everyone here,” said Dave Coleman. “All the All-Stars, my favorite player’s here, I’m super excited.” 2News spoke to Coleman, and his wife Jen. Jen remembers being a teenager when the 1993 All-Star game came to town but says she wasn’t that into it.
