At least four people are dead and three injured after a 19-year-old man went on an hourslong shooting rampage in Memphis on Wednesday, according to police.
The suspect, identified as Ezekiel Dejuan Kelly, allegedly livestreamed at least one of the shootings on Facebook and had a previous criminal record, according to authorities. Kelly was apprehended by Memphis police at around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday after a high-speed chase.

The first killing in the alleged gunman's shooting spree was just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Memphis police. Officers located a deceased male victim in a driveway, and police identified Kelly as a suspect.
In the hours between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday, the suspect went on a violent rampage, allegedly committing several carjackings and shooting several victims.
At 4:38 p.m., the suspect fired multiple gunshots into a vehicle he pulled up next to, killing the driver, according to Memphis police.
At 4:40 p.m., law enforcement said Kelly shot a female victim in the leg. She was transported to a hospital with noncritical injuries.
At 5:59 p.m., authorities said the suspect went on Facebook Live and recorded himself walking into a business and shooting a male inside the store. The victim was in critical condition, according to Memphis police.
The Washington Examiner has viewed a video recording in which a man, who appears to be Kelly, walks into an Autozone store and fires two shots at a person.
At 6:12 p.m., Memphis police said they were notified of the Facebook Live and began their manhunt, alerting citizens of the potential danger and issuing a shelter-in-place order.
Kelly's alleged violent spree continued at 7 p.m., when another woman was shot and carjacked, and at 7:24 p.m., a male victim was shot and left with noncritical injuries, according to police.
At 8:55 p.m., Kelly allegedly shot and killed a female victim, and moments later, he allegedly carjacked a victim at gunpoint.
At 8:58 p.m., the vehicle of the suspect's final carjacking victim was spotted by police. Kelly was apprehended at about 9:20 p.m. by Memphis and Shelby County police after a high-speed chase.
Authorities say two weapons were located in the vehicle.
Memphis Police Department Chief C.J. Davis said at a press conference on Thursday that "numerous" felony charges against Kelly are pending and that police are actively investigating several crime scenes.
Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland revealed during a press conference that Kelly was charged with attempted first-degree murder but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in April 2021. Strickland also said that Kelly was sentenced to three years in prison, but was released earlier this year after serving 11 months.

"These evil actions show why truth in sentencing is a must, and we should do all we can to make our city safe," Strickland said. "We must unite around this principle and stand up to the challenge of violent crime in our city."
"If Mr. Kelly served his full three-year sentence, he would still be in prison today and four of our fellow citizens would still be alive," the mayor added.
