Lewis Capaldi fans came to the singer's musical aid during a performance in which he appeared to be overcome with tics due to his Tourette syndrome.
In a TikTok video posted Wednesday, Capaldi, 26, seems to experience tics onstage while singing his hit song "Someone You Loved." The crowd then takes over, singing the lyrics for Capaldi in time with the music.
The video has garnered over 25 million views and 4.6 million likes as of Thursday and has inspired several positive comments from supportive fans.
"I love Lewis Capaldi," commented one user. "I never knew he had Tourette’s. I’m glad I know now. That’s an amazing crowd"

"Coming from someone who has Tourettes, I love this," wrote another.
Capaldi has been open about having Tourette syndrome in the past. Tics can include blinking eyes, shrugging shoulders or blurting out sounds and words, Mayo Clinic says.

"It was like, 'Oh, that makes a lot of (expletive) sense,' " Capaldi said on "The Jonathan Ross Show" in October 2022 about getting diagnosed with Tourette's months prior. "I thought I had a degenerative disease, so to be told that it was... Tourette's was, as you can imagine, quite the relief."
Capaldi also told BBC he feels "good" about people knowing about his diagnosis.
"I'm glad that it's out there," he said. "It's been nice to hear people's own experiences with it as well, to know I'm not alone in my twitching."
