Knicks Josh Hart Comments About Not Being An Indiana Guy Are
The New York Knicks will play the Indiana Pacers in the next round of the NBA playoffs and some anti-Indiana comments made by Josh Hart are resurfacing just in time for Game 1.

The New York Knicks' first-round series with the Philadelphia 76ers was particularly testy, and it is already looking like their next series against the Indiana Pacers could be heading in that direction too.

Why? Because of a resurfaced quote from Knicks shooting guard Josh Hart in which he essentially said he wouldn't be caught dead in the Hoosier State if he wasn't required to travel there on business.

"If I don’t have to play the Indiana Pacers, I’m not stepping foot in that State," Hart said a couple of months ago on his "Roommates Show" which he does with teammate Jalen Brunson, per The New York Post. "I don’t want to be in Indiana for any All-Star break, for anything. I am not an Indiana guy."

Don't like Indiana, huh? It's easy to rip a deuce on Indiana while you're talking big on a podcast, but how about you say it to Jim Nabors' face?

…if he wasn't already dead for seven years.

I don't know what Hart's experience was like, but I used to visit family in Indiana and had a hell of a time at the Indy 500 a few years back, so the state is A-oh-kay in my book.

Whatever horrible experience Hart may have had aside, you know Hart bought himself a heaping helping of boos when the series shifts to Indianapolis for Games 3 and 4.

He did, however, offer an olive branch by saying that he did like two of the city's culinary offerings.

"I will say they do got a White Castle there. I love White Castle. It’s the only solid thing about Indiana," Hart said (someone should tell him they have those outside of Indiana; it'll blow his mind). "And Long’s Bakery. Fire donuts. If not for those two things, psshh. Long’s Bakery? Donuts are top-tier. Indiana? Bottom of the barrel."

I mean, White Castle and donuts and he still hates Indiana. Josh Hart is hard to please.

Something tells me Hart's opinion of the state won't be changed by the upcoming series, but you know what might?

Three words: pork tenderloin sandwiches.
