Manchester United face Fulham on Sunday hoping to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

After positive results against Liverpool, Arsenal and Southampton, the Red Devils were brought crashing back to earth with a 3-1 home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

They produced a better performance in their win over Rangers in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, but they still needed late intervention from captain Bruno Fernandes to get the three points. Interestingly, they got a dramatic victory on their last visit to Fulham in November 2023 thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Fernandes.

Fulham also lost this season's reverse fixture in August, but they come into this fixture in 10th place, seven points ahead of Ruben Amorim's side. Marco Silva's men have only lost two games in all competitions since October 19, so this will be a tough test for the 20-time champions.

Fulham are still without Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson, but Marco Silva otherwise has a strong squad at his disposal, and he keeps faith with the starting 11 from last weekend.

Former United man Andreas Pereira has to settle for a bench role again, with Emile Smith Rowe having been at the heart of the Cottagers' 2-0 win at Leicester.

Amorim made five changes for the Europa League game with Rangers and has repeated the feat for this game.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana returns to the lineup, as do Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte. Rasmus Hojlund replaces Joshua Zirkzee as Amorim tries to get one of his strikers in goal-scoring form.

Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro each felt discomfort during the Rangers game, but the former is fit enough to start. Christian Eriksen and Toby Collyer are the other men to drop out, with Noussair Mazraoui back in at wingback. That means Bruno Fernandes drops into midfield and sees Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo play behind Hojlund.

Victor Lindelof makes the matchday squad as Amorim eases him back from injury, but this game comes too soon for Mason Mount and Luke Shaw, although their recoveries have been progressing well.
