Bleacher Report's coverage of WWE Extreme Rules 2022 is now available.

The "White Rabbit" teasers are the biggest mystery in pro-wrestling over the past few week, but there were some great matches to be seen this weekend.

The women's division was highlighted in a unique manner, since the Raw and SmackDown women titles were the only ones being defended on the card.

Each match had a specific stipulation. We saw lots of weapons, mayhem, and even some blood.

Let's take an in-depth look at Saturday's show.

The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium ("Good Old-Fashioned Donnybrook")

1 of 6

Brawling Brutes entered the Imperium arena to begin their bout. A White Rabbit teaser was played briefly, but was ignored by announcers.

All six men teamed up and began fighting as soon as the bell rang. Sheamus pursued Gunther, Butch focusing on Giovanni Vinci, while Ridge Holland attacked Ludwig Kaiser.

The ring was surrounded with barrels, a small bar setup, and many other things that you would find in a typical European Pub. It was all part of the ringside area.

This match was chaotic in the best way possible. Everyone was working hard and it was a great match. After all the action, the Brawling Brutes won against Imperium.

    Winners The Brawling Brutes

    Grade:A-

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Imperium's red jackets for ring jackets are so specific that they look weird on certain HDTVs.
  • Kaiser was hanging upside down in the corner when Butch dropped him. He had a shillelagh against it.
  • God bless Sheamus for being always willing to take a beating. His chest looked so painful.
  • It was amazing to see how this match used weapons and other props. Although it was crazy, it didn't go overboard.
Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Ronda Rousey

2 out of 6

Liv Morgan looked excited for her match against Ronda. She brought a bat to the Extreme Rules match.

Rousey stopped Morgan from using the weapon immediately, so Morgan was immediately able to defend herself without it.

The champion was able to turn the tide in her favor after finally getting the bat. Rousey was able to help her with things like the bat, a fire extinguisher and a bat, but it was too late.

Although some of the chair shots and bat shots were not great, they had enough spots to use other weapons and moves. Although they worked better in this match than their previous encounters, there was still something that prevented them from meshing as well as they should.

Although there was much to enjoy in this match, it was difficult to follow the actions of Imperium and The Brawling Brutes in the opener. Rousey Morgan did a great job, but it could have been even better.

It's hard to pinpoint the exact issue, but something just wasn't working despite both Superstars' incredible efforts. Rousey won back the SmackDown Women's Championship after a long struggle and many close calls.

Winner:Ronda Rodey wins the SmackDown women’s title by submission

    Grade:B-

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Rousey made a mockery of the crowd by crying and booing her entrance. It was good heel work.
  • Morgan looked great during her entrance. Morgan looked great in her jacket and gear.
  • Morgan's shot from the bat as she leapt off the stairs was amazing. It looked amazing, but it didn't seem nearly as bad as it first appeared.
  • Rousey's black belt is something that many people don't realize is extremely effective. These belts are durable, heavy and can be painful if used as whips.
Drew McIntyre vs. Karrionkross

3 out of 6

Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross met for a Strap match. However, Kross refused to let the strap be tied to his wrist. The Scottish Warrior was attacked by him before the bell rang. They fought for several more minutes, while the referee watched from the ring, unable to stop them.

Although this fight was impressive, it felt like something was keeping them from reaching the level they were likely to desire. It was decent, but not exceptional.

Both men gave their best effort. Scarlett pepper-sprayed McIntyre, which allowed Kross the opportunity to nail him from behind.

    Winner:Karrion Krass

    Grade: C+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Kross's hair was not shaved since his return.
  • It was unnecessary to have them fight so long before the bell rang.
  • It was amazing how long it took for some welts to appear. They didn't hold back on those shots.
Bianca Belair vs. Bayley, (Ladder Match Raw Women's Championship).

4 out of 6

Bianca Belair and Bayley were next in a ladder match to win the Raw Women's Championship. Dakota Kai and Iyo sky did not remain at ringside, however their presence was felt throughout.

Both women soon began to use the ladders around the ring. They were used in many other ways than climbing. There were also some memorable spots where both competitors were in great pain.

Sky and Kai tried to stop Belair reaching the belt. However, The EST of WWE hit both women simultaneously with a KOD in an impressive display power. Although it was difficult to set up, the payoff was well worth it.

The match was a great success. The crowd was up and dancing by the time Belair reached the top of the ladder and claimed victory.

    Winner:Bianca Belair

    Grade:B+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Nikkita Lyons was seen in the crowd wearing a very interesting outfit.
  • The elbow drop Bayley made from the apron as Belair was climbing up the ladder was brutal. Both women took nasty bumps.
  • The match's final KOD was scary. Bayley seemed to have hit her mouth on the ladder side when she landed. However, post-match photos of her showed that she was fine. However, she might have had a fat lip the morning.
  • Bayley is so skilled at making her opponents look good. Belair looks great in the ring, but The Role Model made it even better.
Finn Bálor vs. Edge ('I Quit’ Match)

5 out of 6

Finn Bálor was out alone for his match against Edge. He was the only person from The Judgment Day who came out with him. This was evidently his attempt to show that he didn't need any help to beat Edge.

Although Edge was aggressive in the beginning, Edge was mostly a passive player. The Rated-R Superstar began to see the benefits of his slight experience.

Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio showed up to help Bálor at one point, but the veteran took them down at ringside. Rhea Ripley cuffed Edge to the top rope while he was setting up a Spear.

Rey showed up to fight with his son and Beth Phoenix saved her husband from a kendo stick attack. Edge was unable to overcome the numbers game. He refused to give up until they threatened to injure Theglamazon with a pair chairs.

As Ripley was winding up for the swing, Edge said "I quit" to save her and give Bálor the win. Edge was being held back by Ripley, but Ripley sat down with The Glamazon in the chair.

Edge tried to help his wife by assisting some officials, but the Judgment Day won.

Although the match was too long and overbooked, it was still a solid performance from two men who are almost incapable of turning in a poor performance.

    Winner: Finn Bálor

    Grade:B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Bálor wore a cool spiked mask for his entrance. Although this was not his Demon entrance it did have elements of that.
  • The ref did a great work of not being too strict by asking both men if they wanted to quit.
  • It was fun to use the hockey stick.
  • Twitter will be very popular with Ripley wearing a pair handcuffs.
Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins (Fight Pit)

6 out of 6

Daniel Cormier was the official at the Fight Pit match between Matt Riddle & Seth Rollins.

If you've never seen this cage, it is fascinating to see how it works. The ring ropes have been removed and the structure has an additional level that competitors can stand on.

This was their most intense encounter. The cage was a part of the reason, but it wasn't the only reason. Both gave their best and earned their place in the main event.

Riddle hit a senton on the mat from the first level of his cage. After struggling to recover from the landing Riddle locked in a submission and Rollins finally gave up to give The Original Bro what is undoubtedly his greatest win.

This will be the Match of the Night for many. As Riddle was about to leave, the lights went out in the arena. Everyone began to use their phones as light sources and held up their phones. Over the sound system, "He's Got The Whole World in His Hands" began to play.

We started to see spotlights show people dressed up as characters from Firefly Funhouse. A video was shown showing the decrepit set of the children's show. A door opened to reveal a man in mask holding a lantern.

The figure took off the mask to reveal himself to be Bray Wyatt, the biggest pop of night. The show was over when he blew out the lantern. This was a great reveal and a fascinating way to end the show.

    Winner: Matt Riddle

    Grade:A

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Rollins wore a fantastic ring jacket featuring graphics of a dragon at the front.
  • It was heart-stopping to see Riddle's rage after The Visionary hit his with a frog splash.
  • Riddle sold a Stomp in the same way that Rob Van Dam would sell it. He sat right on top of his head.
  • The crowd was amazing in their participation in Wyatt's reveal. WWE could not have received a better response.
