2022 WWE Extreme Rules live stream, how to watch online, start time, card, matches

WWE Extreme Rules will live up to its name Saturday when the company descends upon Philadelphia, home of the now defunct cult classic wrestling promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling. Six hard-hitting matches are scheduled for the card. Extreme Rules has lost its identity in recent years. However, WWE is back to form with a card packed with special stipulations. 

Extreme Rules will be used to contest the Smackdown women's championship trio between Liv Morgan, Ronda Rousey. This is a no-disqualification match that does not count out and incentivizes weapons use. In the meantime, Raw women's champion Bianca Belair defends herself against Damage CTRL leader Bayley. This is what WWE calls the first ever one-on-one women ladder match.

A variety of unusual stipulations are also included on the Extreme Rules checklist.

Matt Riddle, a former UFC fighter, takes on Seth Rollins in a Fight Pit match that is MMA-themed. They have been engaged in a bitter, personal battle with Rollins winning more often than Riddle, a fan-favorite Riddle. Special guest referee Daniel Cormier, a former champion in two divisions of UFC and UFC Hall of Famer, will be the match's referee.

Drew McIntyre has been outclassed by Karrion Kross several times since Kross & Scarlet returned to the promotion. In August, McIntyre challenged Kross for a strap match. For the duration of this intense physical exchange, the two heavy hitters will be tied to one another.
