Who plays Sarah Chapman in Enola Holmes 2 cast?

After watching the first season of Stranger Things, most audiences were no doubt curious to discover what the central cast of young and talented actors would go on to do. In the case of Millie Bobby Brown, it didn’t take too long for her to land a leading role in a film, courtesy of Enola Holmes in 2020.

The titular character is Sherlock Holmes’ teenage sister and the film was based on Nancy Springer’s young adult fiction series of the same name.

It went down a treat and the streamer later announced that a sequel was in production, which finally debuted on the platform on Friday, November 4th 2022.

Familiar faces are welcomed back, including Millie as Enola and Henry Cavill as Sherlock, as well as some new ones for us to get acquainted with.

Speaking of which, who plays Sarah Chapman in Enola Holmes 2?

Sarah Chapman – or Cicely – is played by 27-year-old English actress Hannah Dodd in Enola Holmes 2. The film touches upon the 1888 matchgirls’ strike and the character is actually based on the real-life labor activist of the same name.

Hannah is also a model but audiences will no doubt recognize her from a bunch of shows and movies.

On the TV side of things, she’s arguably best known as Young Sophie from the 2022 mini-series Anatomy Of A Scandal or Thea Raphael in Find Me In Paris. If you haven’t seen these, on the other hand, perhaps you’ve caught her in Harlots (Sophia Fitzwilliam), Pandora (Councilor Jennifer), Flowers In The Attic: The Origin (Corrine Foxworth), or Bridgerton (Francesca Bridgerton).

As for movies, she played Townie #2 in Fighting With My Family, which is her first credited role, and she later went on to portray Sandra in the 2021 MCU blockbuster Eternals.

Hannah previously spoke to The List about her experience on Enola Holmes 2.

“I remember the table read day … I’d been in rehearsals and stuff and I’d met a few people, but the table read was the first time and I could see all of our names and it was Helena Bonham Carter, Hannah Dodd. I was like, ‘I have to sit next to her?'”

She continued: “There was a couple of days that I was like, ‘I don’t understand why I’m here,’ and watching them do their thing. You’re like, ‘Oh god, I need to be doing my…’ I’m still pinching myself.”

Needless to say, she was starstruck, calling the overall experience “insane”.
