It’s clear there is a high demand for Disney in California. Disneyland is getting ready to host a new event called A Touch of Disney at Disney California Adventure.
This limited-time event will start on March 18 and, according to the official Disneyland website, due to the overwhelming popularity, ticket sales have been extended beyond the original date of April 5.
It is worth noting that A Touch of Disney was always set to offer tickets on a rolling basis and never had an officially scheduled end date.

We have been following the sale of these tickets today March 4, as some of our own Inside the Magic team have been experiencing the purchase process first hand.
Initially, there was no set time from Disney when these special event tickets would be going on sale. A long virtual queue began forming as soon as the tickets went live online. Tickets have been on sale for many hours with long waits for fans waiting to get a chance at purchasing a chance to enter this event.
This afternoon, hours before the virtual queue opened, tickets for A Touch of Disney were starting to sell out as some Disney fans were waiting 5+ hours (or even longer) for a chance to purchase, with no guarantee the event would not completely sell out by the time it got to their turn.

According to an Instagram post from theme park reporter @thecalibae, you can see some days are now being marked as “unavailable” on Disney’s calendar.

While some Disneyland fans were able to successfully purchase tickets after hours and hours of waiting in a virtual line, other fans are still waiting.
Unfortunately, as of our initial publication of this article, all weekends that are currently available have sold out and only select weekdays were available. Now, however, just after 5 p.m. PST, all available tickets are sold out and the virtual queue has closed, approximately 9-10 hours after the virtual queue began.
