Now that Daniel Jones’ contract situation is about to be resolved, we can turn our attention to the much more enjoyable exercise of examining how the Giants can get their quarterback some more weapons.
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet if Jones’ salary-cap hit will be the $32.4 million he will be paid if the team places the franchise tag on him or a lower number based on the structure of a long-term deal. Regardless, general manager Joe Schoen knows he needs to get his quarterback help if the team is going to go from a playoff qualifier in 2022 to a Super Bowl contender in 2023.
