Crocs giving away thousands of free pairs of shoes in honor of 20th anniversary

BROOMFIELD (Colo.) -Crocs celebrates its 20th anniversary with thousands of free shoes every day until Oct. 7.
The company renamed the month Croctober and announced that it will give away "tens to thousands of pairs" in a giveaway that is open to all entries between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. ET daily on Crocs.com The company stated that individuals must become Crocs Club members in order to be eligible.
Winners will be selected randomly, and those who don’t win can enter again each day.
KFC and Crocs have teamed up to launch a new shoe called the "Bucket Clog" during New York Fashion Week.
Two decades ago, Crocs hit the market and earned a unique place in culture as a "love ‘em or hate ’em" style of footwear.
Recent surveys have shown that foam clogs are gaining popularity thanks to Gen Zers who rate Crocs as their favorite brand.

Health care workers can also wear Crocs, and receive a 15% discount on the lightweight, functional shoes. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, nearly 1 million pairs have been donated by the company to healthcare workers.

The brand announced that they will offer more "surprise giveaways", and exclusive products as part of the "Croctober” celebration.
"Croctober is one of our most favorite times of the year – a time to recognize our fans, many of whom have supported us unconditionally since the beginning and who live at the heart of our brand," Heidi Cooley, Crocs CMO, said in a statement.
Crocs stated that the momentum will continue to build up to "Croc day" on October 23rd, a fan-recognized holiday which began in 2017 as an ode of the shoe. This year, the company will release a limited-edition Croc Day Clog that’ll be available to Crocs Club members beginning Oct. 20 and open to everyone beginning Oct. 21.
