It happened! The Columbus Crew won the 2020 MLS Cup with a convincing 3-0 win against the — now former — defending champion Seattle Sounders at MAPFRE Stadium. This marks the Crew’s second MLS Cup title and the team’s first in 12 years. Winning a title comes with plenty of perks but one of them is gear to celebrate the title.

The Crew was victorious on Saturday night despite missing key stars Darlington Nagbe and Pedro Santos. Offseason record-signing Lucas Zelarayan shouldered the offensive load by scoring two goals and assisting on another in an MVP performance for the Black & Gold. The Columbus defense, which helped carry the team all year, led the way with a third straight shutout in the MLS Cup playoffs, limiting the chances the Sounders created. Head coach Caleb Porter won his second MLS Cup on the same field he won his first, but this time he did so for the Crew.

The team announced there will be a virtual celebration Sunday afternoon following the MLS Cup victory. The Crew also confirmed the club hopes to do an in-person parade sometime in 2021.
