Saturday’s Alamo Bowl between the Colorado Buffaloes and BYU Cougars doesn’t lack storylines.

On Colorado’s side, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, safety Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. and other notable Buffs will be playing in their final college football game. The Buffs, led by second-year head coach Deion Sanders, are also looking for their first bowl win since 2004 (Houston Bowl).

BYU won its first nine regular season games before stumbling down the stretch, falling to Kansas and Arizona State to narrowly miss the Big 12 championship game. Still, the Cougars reached double-digit wins for the third time under ninth-year head coach Kalani Sitake.
