Chicago Bears move to 2-1 win 23-20 victory over Houston Texans | Game Recap

Houston fought back with a Mills-to-Jordan Akins touchdown pass of 4 yards and Dameon Pierce's 1-yard touchdown run to take a 14-13 lead at the half. Herbert ran for another touchdown in the second quarter, while the Texans scored two field goals to tie the game at 20-20.

Herbert led the Bears' offense with a record-breaking 157 yards on 20 carries, two touchdowns and 281 rushing yards. Herbert was brought in after David Montgomery sustained a lower right leg injury on the Bears' second drive. Eberflus informed reporters that Montgomery is doing well and that it was a positive.

Mills completed 20 out of 32 passes for 245 yard, one touchdown, and two interceptions. With 20 carries for 80 yards, Pierce led the Houston rush attack with a score.

We worked together on that and he did an excellent job of focusing it in, taking us in, and setting us up for the game's winning field goal.
