Arsenal ended Bodo/Glimt’s run of 14 consecutive home European wins with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Norwegian side.
Bukayo Saka’s deflected effort off his own face proved to be enough, but the hosts did miss a lot of chances.
Saka’s goal was well worked by the Gunners, but the finish was lucky as his strike hit a defender bounced back and smacked him in the face and went in.
Amahl Pellegrino was then played through on goal, but missed the target with the goal gaping.
Matt Turner denied Pellegrino in the second half before Ola Solbakken and Runar Espejord missed presentable chances as Arsenal held on.
