Ball State football's Justin Hall will not play vs. Georgia State in Camellia Bowl 2021
Ball State football wide receiver and kick return specialist Justin Hall will not play for the Cardinals against the Georgia State Panthers in the 2021 Camellia Bowl on Saturday at Montgomery's Cramton Bowl.
Hall, a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award who has seven All-Mid-American Conference honors to his name, was in street clothes when the Cardinals took the field Saturday. A fifth-year senior, Hall missed the second half of Ball State's regular-season finale against Buffalo on Nov. 23 for an undisclosed reason.
Hall broke the Ball State record for career all-purpose yards (5,359) and career receiving yards (3,385). He also tied the NCAA record with for the most consecutive games catching a pass with 54.
During the 2021 season, Hall caught five touchdowns and ran for six. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown against Army.
