Mexico and the United States will face off for the fourth time in World Baseball Classic history on Sunday night at Chase Field, with the former looking to collect its first win of the 2023 Classic and the latter hoping to end the evening with a 2-0 record in pool play.

Both teams put up strong performances in their Pool C openers on Saturday, with the United States taking care of Great Britain, 6-2, and Mexico dropping its contest against Colombia by a narrow 5-4 margin.

Here’s what you need to know about Sunday’s matchup:

When and where: 10 p.m. ET at Chase Field in Phoenix.

How you can watch: The game between Mexico and the United States will be live at 10 p.m. ET on FS1. Games are available on FOX, FS1, FS2, Tubi or FOX Deportes, and every game can be streamed online in the FOX Sports App. For international viewing options, click here.

How you can listen: Live audio coverage of all games will be carried on Sirius XM, TuneIn, MLB.com and in the MLB App.

What’s at stake: The 20 teams have been placed in four pools of five teams for the first round of the 2023 World Baseball Classic, with each team playing the others in its pool once each and the teams with the two best records in each pool at the end of this round advancing to the knockout stage. Mexico enters this game 0-1 in Pool C, while the United States is 1-0. Both are competing with Colombia (1-0), Canada (0-0) and Great Britain (0-1).

Matchup history: The teams have met three previous times in the Classic, with Mexico taking two of the three contests. In their most recent matchup, in 2013, Mexico defeated the United States, 5-2, also at Chase Field.

Randy Arozarena, OF, Mexico: Mexico may have lost its first game of the tournament, but Arozarena was still a powerhouse out of the leadoff spot, hitting a double and a home run and collecting a pair of RBIs.

Nolan Arenado, 3B, United States: Arenado went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs in the United States’ win over Great Britain on Saturday, and he threw in some of his trademark stellar defense.
