Indianapolis International Airport welcomes WWE fans for Royal Rumble

Indianapolis International Airport is ready to welcome the more than 50,000 fans arriving for WWE Royal Rumble this weekend.

The road to WrestleMania officially kicks off Saturday with WWE's Royal Rumble.

Royal Rumble, which is one of the most anticipated premium live events on the calendar, comes to Indianapolis in 2025 and sets the stage for the rest of year in WWE.

The stars will be out at the Royal Rumble. John Cena will be in the men's match as part of his 2025 farewell tour, while Charlotte Flair makes her long-awaited return in the women's Rumble match after recovering from injury for over a year.

The winner of the 30-person men's and women's Royal Rumble matches gets a championship match against the champion of their choosing at WrestleMania 41.

In addition to the Royal Rumble matches, there are also two title matches on the card. The rivalry between WWE Universal champion Cody Rhodes and former friend Kevin Owens comes to a head in a ladder match for the championship. A men's tag team championship 2-out-of-3-falls match is also part of the event.

How to watch WWE Royal Rumble: TV, live stream

WWE Royal Rumble streams live on Peacock.

Cost of the streaming service is $7.99 a month for a premium option and for a no-commercial premium plus subscription it's $13.99.

Is Royal Rumble on Netflix?

Not for those in the United States. While the Netflix streaming service is the new exclusive home of Raw on Monday nights, WWE's premium live events continue to stream on Peacock for US residents. The Royal Rumble, however, will air on Netflix in most international markets.

Where is Royal Rumble 2025? Royal Rumble location

The Royal Rumble 2025 is being held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

This is the first of three major WWE events that Indianapolis will host in the coming years. Last summer, WWE and Indiana Sports Corp announced a partnership that brings the WWE’s three largest events — WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble — to Indianapolis.

WWE Royal Rumble kickoff: Tyrese Haliburton shows up

A day before the Royal Rumble, WWE superstars got fans excited with a kickoff pep rally.

WWE announcers Michael Cole and Pat McAfee emceed the kickoff. Joining them were WWE Universal champion Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Nia Jax, Bayley and Liv Morgan.

Beyond the wrestlers, Oshkosh North grad Tyrese Haliburton, who is in his third year with the Indiana Pacers, and a big wrestling fan was also part of the event. He told McAfee on stage he plans on being at the Royal Rumble after his team's game in the afternoon.

And when WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque told the crowd to expect the usual surprises in the 30-man Royal Rumble, Haliburton approached him.

"You got a minute?" Levesque asked him.

"Let's talk," Haliburton told him before they exited the stage.
