OXFORD, Mississippi— One week after taking down Alabama in Tuscaloosa, No. 1 LSU football responded with a win over Ole Miss.

The Tigers defeated the Rebels 58-37.

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 489 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions. Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase caught eight passes for 227 yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Ole Miss quarterback John Rhys Plumlee ran for 212 yards and four touchdowns.
