Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Tottenham Hotspur - Football Match Report - October 4, 2022

Tottenham Hotspur wasted a lot of opportunities and failed to score for more than 80 minutes. They settled for a draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday, Champions League Group D.

Spurs lost 3-1 to London rivals Arsenal Premier League on Saturday. They had many opportunities through Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, but have now gone seven European away matches with no win.

Europa League winners Eintracht, Spurs and Spurs have four points each from three matches. Sporting is on top on six, despite Marseille's 4-1 loss to bottom club Marseille, who have only three points.

Perisic could have done more when his shot also missed, as Spurs were not efficient with their finishing.

In their maiden Champions League campaign, the Germans remained solid at back and had a golden chance through Ansgar Kauff, but goalkeeper Hugo Lloris made an outstanding diving save.

Lloris, who joined Fabien Barbez on 21., became the second French keeper with more than 20 clean sheets during the Champions League.

Tottenham and Frankfurt will meet again in London next Wednesday.
