'Sexiest Man Alive' Chris Evans' skincare routine is 'pretty basic'

For Chris Evans, simplicity is sexy.

While the Marvel star was just named People’s 2022 “Sexiest Man Alive,” his award-winning looks probably aren’t thanks to a slew of pricey products.

“Less is certainly more from where I’m from,” Evans told GQ in 2013. “I still do things the way I’ve always done them, which is pretty basic. I’ve never been one for too much grooming.”

The star, who also famously used an iPhone 6S until June 2022, seemingly brings the same bare-bones philosophy to his beauty routine. 

“I just like things to be easy in my everyday life,” he told InStyle in 2016, per the Cut, saying he likes to keep things “simple, classic and clean” when asked which beauty products he “can’t live without.”

The "Knives Out" star's skincare regimen is just as classic as his famous white sweater.

If you’ve been marveling over the Marvel star’s complexion, good news: His skincare routine can mostly be recreated with a trip to the drugstore (or an Amazon shopping spree).

The “Knives Out” star’s lotion is just as classic as his character’s cable-knit sweater. He told InStyle he uses this moisturizing formula from Cetaphil, the drugstore brand behind the cleanser stars like Reese Witherspoon and Gigi Hadid swear by.

As for his famous facial hair? Despite telling InStyle “I don’t even like shaving,” the bearded star still mentioned this Braun razor as one of his beauty go-tos.

Evans also sticks to the basics when it comes to Chapstick, with this original balm also making his list of must-haves for the magazine.

“If there’s anything I’ve heard over and over in the makeup chair, it’s that people love Kiehl’s products,” the star once told GQ.

While he didn’t name a specific product, he’s not the only star singing Kiehl’s praises; Emily Ratajkowski favors the brand’s Ultra Facial Cleanser ($23), while Zoë Kravitz and Kailey Cuoco have both said they use the Avocado Eye Cream ($55).

While Evans might not sweat the small stuff with his skincare routine, he’s covered when it comes to deodorant. Stock up on the classic Old Spice scent he once named among his InStyle must-haves.

Evans keeps things simple in the shower as well, thanks to this Dove Beauty Bar that doubles as a facial and body cleanser.

Going for slicked-back hair like the “Captain America” star’s? Evans has also used Tancho’s flyaway-taming products, one of which he named in the same interview. 

Now all that’s missing to get the look is a chunky white sweater.
