Tampa Weather Forecast

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight into early Friday morning. Lows will be pleasant again in the 60's with the noticeable east breeze continuing.
- Subtropical storm Arthur likely to develop late Friday
- No impact to our area
- Hot Saturday
Subtropical storm Arthur will likely develop southeast of Florida late Friday into Saturday.
The good news is the storm will not be a threat to Florida. There will be some heavy rains in the southern part of the state as it passes by, but the Tampa Bay region will be too far away to receive the heavy rains.
The subtropical storm will move northeastward, pushing away from Florida Sunday into Monday.
In our area, Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a 20 percent chance of showers or storms in the afternoon to evening. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80's.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and hotter with highs in the low 90's. Drier air will wrap around the backside of the subtropical storm in the Atlantic at that point, resulting in mainly dry conditions for us Saturday into Sunday. We’ll only have a 10 percent chance of a shower Saturday afternoon.
Sunday will be warm and dry with highs in the upper 80's.
