AccuWeather forecast: Some neighborhoods hotter today, break this weekend

We cooled overnight as expected. Temperatures settle into the upper 40s to upper 50s this morning.

High clouds, sunshine and warm to hot temperatures this afternoon. Only the Coast and communities close to the Coast cool a couple degrees. The Bay stays steady while Inland neighborhoods warm a couple more degrees.

The cooling sea breeze starts heading east into the Bay this evening. Expect more clouds there tomorrow morning with similar lows to this morning.

Weekend and Beyond:Our morning marine layer clouds roll back to the Coast by noon tomorrow. Warmth lingers Inland with 80s holding on for one more day. Pleasant around the Bay with 70s and cool 60s at the Coast.

Clouds loiter longer during Mother's Day. This keeps the cooling trend on track. Still cool at the Coast with a few highs only reaching the upper 50s to lower 60s but pleasant upper 60s to upper70s for the Bay and Inland.

A chance of May showers arrives Monday and continues Tuesday. Not expecting much rain. The storm only ranks a 1-Light on our Storm Impact Scale. Definitely cool for everybody.
