On Williams' touchdown run in quarter three, Detroit set a new record for the most consecutive quarters that ended with a touchdown. The streak was ended in the fourth quarter.
The key moment: Seibert missed a 54-yard field goal that proved to be hugely important for the Lions. It prevented the Lions from going up by one touchdown and gave the Vikings the ball down three yards at their 44-yard line. Seibert missed two field goals that day.
Injury report: Starting Safety Tracy Walker was injured in the left ankle and left the game late during the first quarter. Walker made his way slowly to the sideline and, after a doctor examined his ankle, he was put on a cart to be taken to the locker room. He did not return for the game. JuJu Hughes replaced him.
