Here's a look at Tiger Woods' scorecard and results from the second round of the 2024 Masters at Augusta National.

Track Tiger Woods' scorecard live in the second round of the 2024 Masters Tournament on Friday at Augusta National Golf Club.

Despite inclement weather that delayed the start of the first round of the 2024 Masters, most golfers were able to complete their first 18 holes at August National before dusk.

That group, however, didn’t include the game’s most famous figure.

Tiger Woods performed admirably in his first round Thursday, but he wasn’t able to complete it, standing at 1-under through 13 holes when play was suspended. He finished his round early Friday, stumbling to a 1-over 73 before starting his second round.

Woods wants to remain in contention for a sixth career green jacket. To do it, and keep his streak of making the Masters cut alive, he’ll need to endure what will almost certainly be a long and challenging Friday. Woods teed off in the second round only a few hours after finishing his first round, a trying task for a 48-year-old with a lengthy injury history.

Here’s an updated look at Woods and how he’s faring during the second day of competition in the Masters:

Tiger Woods wins at Masters

Of Tiger Woods’ 15 major championship wins, five have come at the Masters, his most of any of golf’s four preeminent tournaments.

Woods won the Masters in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2019. His five Masters victories are the second-most ever, behind only Jack Nicklaus’ six.

Tiger Woods history at Masters

Prior to this year, Woods has played in the Masters 25 times, going all the way back to 1995, when a 19-year-old Woods qualified for the tournament after winning the 1994 U.S. Amateur. Just two years later, he won the event by 12 strokes. By doing so, he became both the youngest winner of the Masters (at 21 years old) and the first non-white champion.

Beginning with his first-place finish in 1997, Woods won five of the nine Masters from 1997-2005. That run was punctuated by a victory in 2005, in which Woods famously chipped in for birdie on the 16th hole in the final round and went on to defeat Chris DiMarco in a playoff.

Due in large part to a deteriorating body, Woods wouldn’t win again at Augusta National until 2019, when he finished 13-under to edge Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Xander Schauffele, all at 12-under. It was Woods’ first victory in a major championship since 2008 and, at 43 years old, he became the second-oldest Masters winner ever, behind only Nicklaus, who famously won the 1986 Masters at 46 years old.
