WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Basketball was the name of the game Saturday with plenty of contests on the schedule.

We start with NAC Boys’ Basketball as Edwards-Knox played visitor at St. Lawrence Central.

Edwards Knox’s Kyle Reif resets and nets the 18-footer.

Jacob Morrill’s shot is tipped, but Dawson Matthews scores on the rebound.

Ayden Beach backs down the defense and floats the teardrop and the Larries lead by 17.

Austin Mason feeds off the rebound for two.

Off a near steal, Aiden Keddy goes to the glass.

Then it was Mason with a pretty spin move for the “bank deposit.”

Next, it was Joe Perry on the fast break as he makes a “house call”: 50-22 Larries.

Mason sets up Damien Ashley for the three-pointer.

Then it was Matthews with his own interpretation of “shooting from the floor.”

Next, Kale Geer crash lands, but still scores.

It was Jacob Evans with the capper as the Larries beat Edwards-Knox 63-32.

On the girls’ side, IHC hosted General Brown in Girls Frontier League action.

In the 1st quarter, Madelyn Ferris comes up with the loose ball and hits: Lions up 4.

Back the other way, Isabella Bombard dials long distance to put IHC within 4.

Then it was Abigail Bombard burying the 3 to put the Cavaliers within 1.

Off the inbounds, Kaelyn Tryon gets the bucket.

General Brown beats IHC 54-25.

On the college hardwood, St. Lawrence hosted Ithaca in Liberty League play.

In the 1st half, Trey Syroka gets the reverse lay-in to fall: Saints down 1.

Lowville product Gavin Macaulay cuts back door for the basket: Saints down 2.

Then it was Syroka draining the 3 from the corner to put the St. Lawrence up 1.

Gavin Macaulay gives the Saints the lead with the 3 ball.

St. Lawrence rolls past Ithaca 72-47.

On the women’s side, Clarkson hosted Union in Potsdam.

In the 1st quarter, Bella Doyle spots up and hits the 3 to put Clarkson on top 2.

In the 2nd quarter, it’s Doyle with the rebound and putback: Clarkson down 5.

In the 3rd quarter, in transition, Elizabeth Aiossa lays in 2: 34-17 Union.

Cassidy Dumont nails the 3 pointer but Clarkson falls to Union 64-48.

In women’s college hockey from Cheel Arena, 4th ranked Clarkson hosted Union.

In the 2nd period, the game was scoreless, Jenna Goodwin gets Clarkson on the board when she goes top shelf: 1-0 Clarkson.

A little under 4 minutes later, Darcie Lappan splits the defenders and scores: 2-0 Clarkson.

Clarkson goes on to beat Union 3-1.
