South Africa vs Bangladesh Live Score Updates, World Cup 2023: Bangladesh is loosing wickets at regular intervals and all South African bowlers are taking wickets to keep the South Asian team under pressure. Gerald Coetzee dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim and Nasum Ahmed while spinner Keshav Maharaj took out Mehidy Hasan.

South Africa after losing two early wickets has build the innings on the partnership between de Kock and Aiden Markram.

South Africa's Quinton de Kock made his third hundred in just five World Cup innings with a brilliant 174 against Bangladesh in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old left-handed opener went to his latest century in 101 balls, including six fours and four sixes.

South Africa had briefly been in trouble at 36-2 after winning the toss at the Wankhede Stadium.

But De Kock's third-wicket stand of 131 with stand-in captain Aiden Markram (60) turned the tide in favour of the Proteas.

He then put on 142 for the fourth wicket with Heinrich Klaasen as South Africa sailed past 300.

While South Africa's batting has been an area of strength for the team throughout the tournament, the improvement in the bowling department will come as a huge relief to skipper Temba Bavuma. Meanwhile, Bavuma's own fitness will be an area of concern for the Proteas after the opener was ruled out of the game against England due to a last-minute injury.

In what will be a good headache for the team management, the Proteas will also have to decide what happens to opener Reeza Hendricks if a fully fit Bavuma is available for selection. Hendricks, playing ODI cricket for the first time in a long while, made an unbeaten 85 to give the Proteas a solid start that Klaasen and others could later capitalise on to post a big total.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, haven't made much of an impact at the ICC World Cup 2023, despite beating Afghanistan in their opening match in Dharamshala. The Bangladeshi Tigers have suffered three successive defeats at the hands of the tournament's top sides - England, New Zealand and India.
