United States Government's Response to the Clade I Mpox Outbreak

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Clade I Mpox outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. In response to this declaration, the United States government has taken swift action to address the outbreak and protect the health of its citizens.

The government has implemented measures such as increased surveillance, quarantine protocols, and public health education campaigns to contain the spread of the virus. Additionally, research and development efforts are underway to develop a vaccine and effective treatments for Mpox.
