Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi get married vow to never say
The young stars pledged to be there for each other, 'always.'

After plentiful public expressions of devotion and love, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi took a page out of Bon Jovi’s book and pledged themselves to “always.”

The young celebrity pair are officially married.

Brown and Bongiovi’s “secret” nuptials last week were only secret in the way that they have only just been confirmed by The Sun and People.

The couple announced their engagement in April 2023 and had an engagement party last summer.

According to the reports, the ceremony, held somewhere in the United States, was intimate and attended by close family, a prelude to a larger wedding reception later this year.

Brown, who rose to fame as a child actor starring in Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” began dating Jon Bon Jovi’s son, a model and actor, in 2021.

Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, are young, to be sure.

But hey, it’s their life.

Bon Jovi himself gave a ringing endorsement of their engagement.

“I don’t know if age matters,” the Bon Jovi frontman told Andy Cohen last year. “If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really ... growing together is wise.”

Jon Bon Jovi himself met Jake’s mother, Dorothea Hurley — now Dorothea Bongiovi — when they were students at Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, though they didn’t get married until 1989, when they were in their late 20s.

Jake Bongiovi, an alum of The Pennington School in Mercer County, narrowly evaded disaster when he proposed to Brown underwater on a scuba diving trip.

In a March appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Brown told the story of how he bravely dove down even further to retrieve the ring from the watery depths when it slipped as she tried to put it on her finger.

“I truly feel like it’s a reflection of who he is and I feel like we are always gonna have each other’s back and if anyone drops the ball, we got it,” she said.

Brown recently starred in the Netflix film “Damsel.”

We’ll soon be seeing more of Bongiovi onscreen, too.

He stars in the upcoming movie “Sweethearts,” which filmed at Ramapo College in Mahwah and in Jersey City and Cranford.

This year, Bongiovi appeared in the film “Rockbottom,” about the comeback of an ’80s hair metal band, a familiar subject.
