Megan Fox Has “Never Ever” Loved Her Body

In a survey of posters in dormitories the world around, Megan Fox was found to be far and away considered one of the most smokin’ hot people in the world. In fact, she’s even been voted the sexiest woman in the world in years past. However, she revealed, she doesn’t see herself that way. 

In an interview with Sports Illustrated for this year’s edition of the Swimsuit Issue, Fox went deep on her long struggle with body dysmorphia. 

“I don't ever see myself the way other people see me," Fox said. "There's never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, ever."

"When I was little, that was an obsession I had of, like, ‘but I should look this way,’” she said. “And why I had an awareness of my body that young I'm not sure, and it definitely wasn't environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren't even acknowledged."

Now, in contrast, she’s sipping blood for “ritual purposes” with Machine Gun Kelly. 

"The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think," she told SI. 

Fox is one of four celebrities gracing the cover of this year’s Swimsuit Issue, sharing the mantle with Kim Petras, Brooks Nader, and Martha Stewart. At 81 years old, Stewart is the oldest cover model in the magazine’s history. 

In the past, Fox has spoken out about sexism and misogyny in Hollywood, and has also acknowledged that public perception of her has also caused her to sometimes hold her tongue. 

​"I just didn't think based on how I'd been received by people, and by feminists, that I would be a sympathetic victim," she told the New York Times of her decision not to comment on the #MeToo movement in 2018. "And I thought if ever there were a time where the world would agree that it's appropriate to victim-shame someone, it would be when I come forward with my story."
