UFC Fight Night LIVE: Max Holloway v Chan Sung Hung Eurosport
1630 - AND THAT'S IT FROM UFC SINGAPORE
A truly memorable card, topped off by as devastating a knockout as you will see anywhere.
Not many people come to UFC and leave their mark and be remembered for eternity. This guy will.
He takes his gloves off and bows at them in the Octagon before leaving in tears to a rapturous ovation from the grateful UFC fans singing his anthem at him.
He dedicates the bout to his fellow Hawaiians suffering in Maui.
Zombie came out on fire sending a flurry of left and rights at Holloway who rode the storm before picking the perfect moment to throw a counter right hand which dramatically put the Zombie to sleep, face down on the canvas. The referee immediately waved the fight off.
Holloway downed Zombie with a glancing right hand and rather than follow up he waited for the referee to jump in. When he did not Holloway put him in a choke hold which Zombie got up from after 30 seconds. The Korean was wobbled a few more times but kept throwing his hands and pushing back Holloway when in trouble.
Zombie rocked Holloway with a short jab and then right hand but as he went into close things out he was sucker punched with a massive right hand that had him wobbling backwards. As the round went on Holloway had more control with his left hooks but Zombie landed another big right with 30 seconds remaining and a flurry on the buzzer.
The number-one rated Featherweight Max Holloway in the world gets to the Octagon. He is dedicated to those suffering in the state at present.
The Korean Zombie
Two judges had him in front 29-28, with the other for Spann by the same margin. Spann is in disbelief. The crowd are showing disapproval. Spann only has himself to blame though really.
Spann maybe edged the contest in the third round but given Smith's injury you would have expected him to put the contest beyond question - and he didn't do this. We await the judges' decision.
The referee says he will call the doctor back in if it gets worse.
A vicious left hook saw Smith left eye ballooned and his sight affected. Spann easily finding the target thereafter and enjoying a period of ground and pound before the referee called them to the feet. Smith landed a big right at the end of the round to show he still has fight left in him, if he is allowed to continue.
Spann started the busier but was caught with a left hook then two right hands before Smith put him down twice with calf kicks. Spann impressively managed to throw his opponent off after a takedown but he needs to make adjustments.
Last time Anthony Smith made him tap in the first round, but 'Superman' bounced back with a performance of the night against Ion Cutelaba. Will he athis time void the mistakes which allowed the veteran to make him submit?
He is eyeing a next contest at the UFC event in December's Las Vegas.
Almost a pure striking contest, no takedown attempted by either fighter. Both come out of it with credit but Chikadze should get the decision.
Caceres the busier fighter but Chikadze landing the more telling blows.
By the end of the round Chikadze started landing with right hands which may have edged it in his favour and be a sign the ring (or Octogan) rust has been shaken off.
Ninth-ranked Giga Chikadze is back in the Octagon for the first time in 18 months after his defeat to Calvin Kattar. He is up against Alex Caceres who himself has won 7 of his last 8 and is ranked no.15 in the featherweight division.

He extends his record to 8-0. All the bantamweights in the world must be on notice.
Hybrid again had him on the floor (making it nine minutes of control for the fight) but Garcia survived the multiple holds and got to his feet and shortly after was wobbled by a left kick, but still traded to the end.
Both fighters landed early in the round, but Nakamura always looked the more dangerous and he got Garcia to the mat once more midway through the round. Garcia did well to avoid an arm lock submission.
Hybrid got him on the floor for four minutes and at the end was hitting him on the back of the head with the Texan vulnerable. A few more seconds and the referee may have jumped in.
The exciting, unbeaten Japanese fighter Rinya 'Hybrid' Nakamura takes on Fernie Garcia in the bantamweight division.
She now has the longest active streak in the flyweight division with six.
She dominated the round with her wrestling and then in the final seconds, with both women letting their loose, she dropped Santos with a peach of a right hand. She's surely put herself right in contention for a title fight with this performance.
She had Santos in a hold throughout the round, taking her to the mat, though again the Brazilian managed to avoid a submission and get to her feet. Looks like we're even heading into the last round.
She starts brilliantly, striking at will with the right hand and dropping Blanchfield with a leg kick. Blanchfield had her moments too landing a right hand which had Santos rocking midway through the round. Blanchfield took Santos down but the Brazilian reversed the hold and got to her feet.
This is Santos' first fight since narrowly losing a split decision to champion Valentina Shevchenko 14 months ago.
This fight was meant to take place in February when Taila Santos pulled out due to her cornermen having visa issues. No such problems tonight. Erin Blanchfield is ranked three in the world and Santos fourth.
Tafa was landing the right hand at will throughout and put his opponent down initially with a high knee. Then after a brief spell of holding from Porter,
then three more right hands saw Porter fall face first to the canvas and the referee stopped the contest.
Junior 'The Juggernaut' Tafa makes his second UFC appearance looking for his fifth win and fifth knockout against Parker Porter, who was knocked out by Junior's br other Justin in February.
Chan Sung Jung has said he will judge whether to fight on depending on how he looks against Max Holloway tonight.
