The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is returning once again for another year of musical performances and festive fun.
The parade takes place on the national holiday, which this year falls on Thursday, November 24, and will be broadcast on television and available to stream online.
Hosting the parade for 2022 are Today hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, who is currently "on the way to recovery" after he was hospitalized with blood clots in his leg and lungs two weeks ago.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade route runs 2.5 miles, from 77th Street and Central Park West, south to Herald Square on 34th Street in New York City, home to Macy's iconic flagship store.
While hundreds of eager viewers will line up on the streets of New York City to catch the action in person, others who prefer to watch from the comfort of their own homes will be able to do so easily, as well.

The event will be shown again on NBC later in the day, starting at 2 p.m. ET.

To watch the parade live on the streets of NYC, members of the public are recommended to get there early.
Macy's has suggested not to watch the parade on 77th Street and Central Park West, on 6th Avenue between 34th and 38th Streets, or in front of Macy's Herald Square due to limited space.
There will be no public viewing on Central Park West between West 59th and West 60th Streets and no grandstand seating throughout the parade.

Who Are the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2022 Performers?This year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade will begin with an opening number from Lea Michele and her co-stars from the Broadway show Funny Girl.

The casts of other Broadway musicals like A Beautiful Noise, Some Like It Hot, and The Lion King, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will also perform.
The Radio City Rockettes will close out the parade along with Mariah Carey, who was just recently announced for the event and is set to perform her legendary hit, "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
Some big names have been confirmed for the floats during the parade, including Paula Abdul, Gloria Estefan, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Kirk Franklin, Mario Lopez, and Ziggy Marley.
Nickelodeon and Sesame Street will have floats in this year's parade, as will The Lego Group, Kinder, and the Hallmark Channel.
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 24.
