Los Angeles Football Club will host its first match of the 2023 Leagues Cup on Wednesday, August 2 at BMO Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT. As the 2022 MLS Cup Champions, LAFC receives a bye into the single-game elimination knockout Round of 32, skipping the tournament's group stage that kicks off July 21.
On August 2, LAFC will face the second-place team from the South 1 group: Austin FC, Mazatlán FC, and FC Juarez.
The 2023 Leagues Cup is a monumental new competition that features all 29 MLS clubs and 18 Liga MX teams competing in a World Cup-style tournament that runs from July 21 – August 19.
All Leagues Cup matches will air on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, with 15 select group stage matches appearing on Televisa, Univision, and FOX Sports.
