The movie is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green who also directed "Monsters and Men" (2018). Early reviews for "King Richard" are overwhelmingly positive, and it currently holds a "93% Fresh" rating on review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.

Where to watch 'King Richard' online

"King Richard" premiered on HBO Max and in theaters on November 19. An ad-free subscription to HBO Max is required to watch the movie at home. "King Richard" will be available to stream on HBO Max for 31 days.
