On the ESPN broadcast, a replay showed Levis holding his hand up to an official with a finger clearly pointed in the wrong direction. After the safety, Levis was shown on the sideline. He reportedly had the finger put back in place and taped to another non-throwing finger. After the Rebels kicked a field-goal on their next drive, which was 19-6, Levis took photos on the sideline before returning to the field.

ESPN reported that Levis has a left foot or ankle injury.
