Kate Upton invades Fox set after Justin Verlander's Astros win World Series

No one was more excited about the Astros’ World Series win on Saturday than Justin Verlander’s wife, Kate Upton.
Shortly after Houston captured the championship title with a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 6, Verlander made his way to the Fox set, where he spoke with Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, Kevin Burkhardt and Frank Thomas. As the postgame Q&A got underway, Upton, 30, made an unexpected cameo as she celebrated alongside Verlander, 39, and the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Genevieve.
“I love watching my husband do what he loves to do,” Upton said during the broadcast, adding how she did, “A-plus cheering.”
Upton also elaborated on what this momentous ride has meant to the family as Verlander, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, returned to the mound in April after being sidelined for the 2021 season following Tommy John surgery.
“It’s such an incredible experience, I mean, having Justin home, and being able to be together as a family is so amazing, and then to go to the exact extreme, and be here at the World Series … it’s just so exciting,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum shared.
With Saturday’s win over the Phillies, the Astros earned their second World Series title in the past six years. Their last pennant came in 2017, the same year Verlander married Upton in Italy.

“This is my crew,” Verlander said of Upton and their daughter. “These two got me through it.”
Upton, who has supported the Astros throughout their playoff push, also shared a kiss with Verlander on the field at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
It’s been an unforgettable week for Upton and Verlander, who also marked their fifth wedding anniversary on Friday.
