What to know: Iowa won its 28th consecutive game in this series Dec. 10 at Madison. The Hawkeyes trailed through much of the first 15 minutes, then surged away for an 87-65 victory.
The Hawkeyes claimed sole possession of first place in the Big Ten with an 84-57 dismantling of Indiana in front of a national audience Saturday night at Carver.
With 3,274 career points, Caitlin Clark needs nine to catch Brittney Griner at No. 4 on the NCAA Division-I women’s basketball career scoring chart. Clark is averaging 30.9 per game this season.
Molly Davis scored 18 points against Indiana, her most as a Hawkeye. Gabbie Marshall is 12 of 22 from 3-point range in the last three games and scored 12 points in all three of them. Kate Martin crossed the 1,000-point threshold Saturday.
Wisconsin had dropped four of its last five games to slip back to the .500 mark.
A 6-foot-4 sophomore from Brooklyn, N.Y., Serah Williams leads Wisconsin at 16.5 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, and is fifth nationally at 3.2 blocks per contest.
