Welcome to one of the biggest days of the year for both the Purdue and Indiana men's basketball teams.

Purdue (22-1, 11-1 Big Ten), the No. 1-ranked team in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, travels to Bloomington today to take on No. 22 Indiana (15-7, 6-5 Big Ten). IU is coming off a loss to Maryland that snapped a five-game win streak.

The Boilermakers on the other hand have won nine games in a row. Purdue is undefeated on the road while IU is 11-1 at home.

This is Purdue's first game against IU while ranked No. 1.

IU is 6-0 against Purdue as a top-ranked team, most recently in 2013. The Hoosiers also beat the Boilermakers as a No. 1 team in 1993, and twice each in 1976 and '75. Purdue was ranked in two of those six games.
