Harrison Ford Interrupts 'Shrinking' Co-Star's Speech By Eating Chip

Whoever decided to seat Harrison Ford and Jessica Williams together at the SAG Awards deserves an award of their own.
The “Shrinking” co-stars’ close proximity led to an endearing moment that turned into a highlight of the night for many viewers.
In case you missed it, Williams was tasked with introducing herself and sharing her acting journey during a segment of the awards show, which aired on Netflix on Feb. 23.
As Williams began delivering her lines, Ford grabbed some sort of chip and began to take a bite out of it. He soon realized that he was also on camera and slyly removed the chip from his mouth, prompting the audience to laugh.
Williams also laughed and exclaimed, “I told him to turn away. Don’t look!”
Ford, who was already in the process of turning his head away from the camera, then shifted his chair to the side so only the back of his head could be soon.
Ford couldn't resist chomping away at the chip and was visible slightly when Williams moved her head.
As she finished her lines, Williams pointed at herself with both hands as she said, “I am an actor.” At that point, Ford also turned around and raised both his hands in the air, impersonating his co-star as he grinned. Williams then playfully tussled with Ford.
After watching the clip, many YouTube users commented on the comedic moment.
“Harrison Ford is only there for the free food lol,” one wrote.
Another left the following comment: “I love the father-daughter duo, Harrison and Jessica.”
Some viewers were amused that Ford seemed to be trolling Williams.
“If you know Harrison’s sense of humour, you know that was entirely on purpose,” one wrote.
And that may in fact be true.
In December, Williams appeared on “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” to discuss the second season of “Shrinking” and her experience working with Ford.
“I feel really lucky actually, the character that I play, Gaby, it’s her job to be really annoying to (Ford). So to kind of have that cone of protection to kind of just get paid to bother that man is really fun,” she said.
Hoda Kotb replied, saying, “But you know that man is Harrison Ford. Does that register every now and then while you’re doing it?”
“Every now and then he’ll do a laugh where he’s like ‘Hahaha.’ And I’m like, ‘Holy smokes! One, that dude’s hot. Two, that guy’s Harrison Ford.’ He’s really good looking actually and he’s still really fine,” Williams said.
