Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies are a professional basketball team based in Memphis, Tennessee. They compete in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and were founded in 1995. The Grizzlies have had some success in their franchise history, including seven playoff appearances and a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2013.
However, the Grizzlies' 2021 playoff run came to an end in the first round at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers used a "Game 7 mentality" to dominate the Grizzlies in a 40-point victory in Game 6, advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
Despite the disappointing end to their season, the Grizzlies have a promising young core led by Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. that gives fans hope for the future. As the team continues to develop and improve, they will look to make deeper playoff runs in the years to come.
