Grimes Says Elon Musk Took Their Son To Oval Office Without Her ...

Canadian pop singer Grimes said she was not cool with Elon Musk taking their son to an Oval Office press conference with Donald Trump.

On X, the singer responded to a commenter who said her son, X Æ A-12, had been “very polite” and “so cute when he told DJT ’please forgive me, I need to pee.’”

“He should not be in public like this,” Grimes responded. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

Trump and his billionaire ally spoke from the White House on Tuesday to defend the Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. Trump signed an executive order that gives DOGE more power, requiring federal agencies to work with it to make large reductions to the workforce.

Musk was accompanied by his 4-year-old son, one of his 11 known children.

Trump at one point introduced the child, saying, “this is X, and he’s a great guy. High IQ.”

X Æ A-12 was also pictured with his dad at Trump’s New Year’s Eve celebration at the president’s Florida Mar-a-Lago estate.

Grimes, whose legal name is Claire Boucher, shares three children with Musk. The younger two are called Techno Mechanicus and Exa Dark Sideræl.

Grimes was in a relationship with Musk for about three years before they parted ways in 2021.

She spoke out last month after Musk was accused of Nazism following his one-armed salute at Trump’s inauguration — and she caught some flak by association.

“I am not him. I will not make a statement every time he does something,” she said.

“I’m happy to denounce Nazi-ism - and the far alt right. Would that help clear things up?” she added.

In November, she said she couldn’t see one of her children for months during a custody battle with Musk. The case was reportedly resolved by a Texas court in August.

She implied in a later-deleted social media post that she has custody of her kids every other week.
