Google marks Day 7 of Tokyo Paralympics with animated Champion Island Games doodle

Google celebrates Day 7 of the Tokyo Paralympics with an animated Champion Island Games doodle on August 31. Paralympics 2020 commenced on August 24 last week and it will continue till September 5, 2021. Ever since the Paralympics started last week, Google Doodle has been publishing several animated games - swimming, archery, tennis and marathon - to celebrate the multi-sport events.
Google Doodle first launched Champion Island Games during Tokyo Olympics 2020 which took place last month. The anime-inspired game remains the same except for a few changes. “What’s different this time around? Lookout for bonus levels and brand mew side quests! If you’re one of the chosen few who collects every scroll, you can even see what’s next for our favorite feline,” the Google Doodle page mentions.
You can also check your scores on the real-time team leaderboard. “Come back tomorrow to keep up with Lucky, check the real-time team leaderboard standings, and watch the action unfold in the Doodle Champion Island Games,” the Google Doodle page further mentions.
The interactive anime games have been designed by Tokyo-based animation studio STUDIO4°C.
