Max Verstappen will start the Miami Grand Prix sprint race early Saturday afternoon from pole. Lando Norris appeared poised to take his third consecutive sprint race pole after topping the timing sheets in each of the first two sessions on Friday evening. But his 1:28.472 lap in the third qualifying session was his slowest and more than eight tenths of a second behind Verstappen's 1:27.641.
